She futher revealed that she granted James’ wish to compete a relay type of race with her. Although it's not an easy challenge, Hazel learned a lot of things after joining the 50km race with almost 1,200m elevation. "...you have to be physically, mentally and spiritually prepared in joining this kind of long distance race. It takes a lot of courage and perseverance to finish the race." Hazel said.

Challenges are inevitable in every relationship so teamwork is necessary, Hazel & James understand the power of teawork, not just in this race but also in life.

With these learnings, Hazel believes that they will inspire their friends, and family to move more and live better by having a healthy lifestyle. "It’s possible even for parents despite their schedules. You just have to be intentional about it. Not to mention, the discipline and time management they put into it which she believes their child will learn and live by as he grows up." She further explained.

All the races they took part in are not just for themselves, but also dedicating it to the Lord.

"Me and my husband are doing different races and competing not for our own sake but lift Jesus up and to spread the love of Christ to others as our main goal." Hazel added.— Gerone & Arvin, The Pacer
